Gazzew Boba U4 V2 Silent Tactile Switches with clear top for RGB provide the best typing experience for home or office for those that want a great feeling keyboard with minimized sound to not interrupt those around you. The U4's clear top made by Outemu provides plenty of keyboard RGB to pass through creating a great desktop setup. Buy the best feeling, sound dampened switch in the keyboard hobby from thockking. Boba switches are best lubed with Tribosys 3203 but filming is optional as the housing for U4T switches are tight compared to most switches which helps contribute to the great build quality. Gazzew U4 switches (RGB version) are available in both 62g and 68g  and all new 63.5g long spring all in korean made stainless steel.

 

We are proud to be one of the few authorized vendors selected to provide lube and filming services world wide for Gazzew switches. At this time, we do not offer stock (non-lubed) switches. All switches are assembled in the U.S. and only sold with hand lube and or film service.

Perfect silence

The switches are well built and the lighting is perfect. I was concerned about them not being quiet enough. I do a lot of video calls and type notes during. The silence is awesome! I can now type directly below my mic without the other meeting attendees hearing my keystrokes.

I'm not an expert, but these are what I was looking for.

I like my split moonlander keyboard, I'm not deep into keyboards so take this for what it's worth. I liked the feel of my Cherry MX Browns and actually I liked the sound. But I was annoying to those around me even in other rooms, I type hard and bottom out pretty loudly. I looked at reviews for silent tactile switches and was horrified by how much I was going to pay to make my keyboard quiet. I'm not going to say these saved my marriage, but I can work on zoom calls again. These feel great and are exactly what I needed to quiet my work environment for me and those around me.

Filming makes the switches louder

Skip the filming process. I have Boba U4 unlubed switches, both on Keychron V-series keyboards and both using Keychron White-on-Black PBT keycaps. And the un-lubed/un-filmed switches are way quieter.

I'll never buy filmed Boba U4 switches again. Boba U4 switches are great, and ThockKing did a great job - but U4 switches just don't seem like they should be filmed, ever. In fact, some switches popper open during shipping, and when inserted into the keyboard would pop open due to the pressure from using the film. Lube-only for Boba U4.

Quiet and tactile

I was looking to try out a silent tactile switch and landed on the Boba U4 silent. I picked the lubed option as I hadn't tried lubed switches before. That added an expected week before shipping. They arrived on schedule and they feel and sound great! I was a bit wary of trying thock king but it was a good experience with great switches. We'll see how long before I'm ordering more!
